Sydney

Beautiful, Cosmopolitan and Fun

smaller_harbour_panorama

Sydney is Australia’s most iconic city with its beautiful Harbour, beaches and attractions such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The population of Sydney is currently over 4 million people and Sydney is also the financial and commercial centre of Australia.

Our school is situated in a modern multi-storey building in Sydney CBD, opposite the famous IMAX priding itself with the biggest 3D screen in the world, 2 minutes walk from the beautiful Darling Harbour, an extensive area almost completely dedicated to entertainment and tourism. The area has fantastic water views, ice-cream, playgrounds, parks, fountains, and many popular restaurants. The bus stops and train station are just 3 minute walk from the school. If you walk 10 minute up the road, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.

Accommodation

Several types of accommodation are available in Sydney including Hostel, Home Stay and Share Accommodation.

Hostel Accommodation can be a good place to stay when you arrive and cost you from $30-$50 a night for a bed in a shared room.

Sydney Central Youth Hostel in the CBD is a good option with a bed in a room for 4 costing from $37 per night. The brand new Sydney Harbour Youth Hostel has also just opened and offers beds in shared rooms from $37. See www.yha.com.au for details

For something in North Sydney, the Glenferrie Lodge offers a bed in a room for 4 at around $45 per night. http://www.glenferrielodge.com/

Home Stay accommodation can also be an appealing way to live in Sydney. We can organize home stay before you arrive or once you are here from 2 weeks to longer term options. For your own room in Homestay accommodation, it will cost around $250/week.

Share accommodation has become very popular for those would like to experience living with different people coming from different corners of the world.

We arrange share accommodation for our students with different providers. An example would be: StudentStay Australia that provides temporary accommodation in Sydney for students & young professionals, from Australia & overseas, who seek a place within the close vicinity of the city that is stylish, friendly and affordable.

StudentStay Austrlalia provides single, double and triple rooms in friendly fully equipped shared houses for overseas students coming to Sydney. All the houses are located 15-30 minutes by train to Sydney.

Price range from $130/week to $160/week for double room.

See www.studentstayaustralia.com for more details

Finding your own Share Accomodation can also be easily arranged. Websites like the ones listed below can help you find a room or a place to rent. The cost will depend on how many people you are sharing with and what area of Sydney.
